Policies
Sessions and Tuition
Classes are taught in 8-week sessions, however, students may begin at any time during a session. Your child will automatically be re-enrolled for the next session, provided your tuition payment is received on time. Tuition is due 2 weeks before each session. If you know that you will not be attending the next session, please inform us as soon as possible so that we may arrange to move another child into that class. Remember, your timely tuition payment ensures that your child’s enrollment for the next session is secured. If you missed the tuition deadline, please call us right away so we can work together to get your child re-enrolled or placed in another class.
Billing and Payment
Your invoice will be emailed to you each session. Please make sure we have your preferred email in our records. You can pay online by credit card, debit card or e-check. You may also mail in your payment or stop by the front desk and pay by debit card, credit card, check or cash.
Automatic Debit: More and more of our customers are going with our Automatic Debit program, wherein your tuition is automatically drawn from your account of choice each session. You will still receive a statement from us summarizing your account status. This method ensures easy and timely payment each session.
Automatic Credit Card Payment: Your payment can be automatically charged to a credit card prior to each session. You will still receive a statement from us summarizing the status of your account.
Annual Membership Fee
There is a $30 Annual Membership Fee for individuals and a $55 Annual Family Membership Fee for families with more than one child enrolled.
Absences/Make Ups
We understand that there are times when a child is not able to attend class. If your child is absent we will be happy to arrange one make-up per session. We ask that students make-up their absence in the session that it was incurred or within 2-3 weeks after the next session begins. If you can not make your scheduled make-up we will be happy to re-schedule it as long as we receive notice prior to missing the make-up. Any make-up not rescheduled prior to the reserved time will be forfeited. Make-ups are not available in team programs. Please understand that make-ups are costly for us as a business, and they disrupt the continuity of your child’s progress. For this reason, we want to encourage good attendance and reserve Make-ups for situations where your child is sick or has other important commitments.
Holidays
We are closed on New Year's Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween (we close at 3:00 p.m. on Halloween), Thanksgiving Weekend (Thursday – Sunday), Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. If your child’s class falls on one of these holidays, please schedule a Holiday Make-up.
Transfers, Withdrawals and Refunds
We ask that you avoid transferring into a different class or withdrawing from class in the middle of a session. At the same time, we understand that schedules change and there are times when it is in the best interest of your child and your family to make a change. In these situations, we will do everything we can to accommodate you!
What to Wear
We have certain recommendations with respect to what your child should wear to class. While some are based on comfort, most recommendations are based on safety. These recommendations are program specific and are listed under each program.
